Racial nationalism won't work in the Philippines.

If we fantasize about an unrealistic proud austronesian ethno state within our islands it would have to pay the price of eradicating half of the population in the Philippines. Why you asked? the Philippines itself is different compare to indonesia where austronesian is much more statistically dominant and racially pure since the protestant dutch colonizers were literal racist who sees indonesians as nothing but a dirty subhuman.

But compare to the Philippines the word filipino came from the spaniards to label us one people in christ regardless of race and ethnicity or tribes whether you are spanish born in the philippines, native or chinese, or mixed race or specifically tagalog, bisaya, aeta, waray etc. and due to the teaching of the catholic church we have been living as one united island for centuries until now.

Now, If we filipinos desire this unrealistic mentality we are basically seeking a division within ourselves instead of strength and unity, since you have to eradicate those who's ancestors came from the spanish or chinese blood. They could be your parents, siblings, cousins, or any relatives.

Fighting to defend the catholic culture rather than race would be much more sensible, as culture is the one who molds society and values not by the color of your skin.

We are all created in God's own image regardless of race or ethnicity.
